Dear Daddy,
This Sunday is
Father’s Day and I’d like to dedicate this post to you
to thank you so much for all that you did and still do even though you are
watching over me somewhere in Heaven. You have been gone two years and there’s
not a day I don’t think of you. My
biggest regret is that I moved back one year too late so that I could have had
more time with you. You may not have realized but you were so influential to
me. What I loved about you was that you
supported my interests and activities.
You stayed up late to help us with school projects, tests, and
homework. The things that you taught me
were taught – not by words – but by example.
You taught me the importance of hard work and sacrifice. You taught me
to love unconditionally and that education was a must in life. Well I’m still working hard and I continue my
passion for education and I know if you were here today – you would be
proud!! I only wish I had developed a
stronger communication with you when I was younger and busy making a life of my
own. Thank you for all that you did for me in your quiet but impactful role
that you played in my life. I was truly
blessed to have had a father like you and I love you with all my heart. Happy
Father’s Day daddy!
To all wonderful fathers and father figures
who have touched a life of a child, we appreciate your contributions in raising
and loving a child!
