We know the season of spring begins in the month of March, but
it is April when we really get to see what spring is all about. There are so
many amazing things happening outside our doors; the buds on the trees, flowers
blooming, the temperature getting warmer and the return of all kinds of
critters (including the worm on the bottom of my shoe) make April a perfect
time for some wonderful topics to share in the classroom.
A study about insects is one of our favorite topics to do in the
classroom. Young children are fascinated with all kinds of creepy crawlies!
April is the Month of the Military Child, so we make sure to
highlight what is unique about children who have military parents.
We especially enjoy spring
break during the month of April. It gives us a chance to rest and rejuvenate
ourselves for the upcoming events and investigations that will be happening in
our
classrooms. We hope you too will take the time to rest and
rejuvenate during your spring break. April is amazing!
