quite overwhelming! Here are some ideas

Hello November!
Hello November! Where has the time gone? It’s almost the middle of the month! November is such a busy and fun month and I want to share some of my favorite November products to help you get through the start of the holiday season!
This Native American product is ideal for Native American Heritage month or any time of the
year.
Included
in the product is the Native American Fact booklet as well as instructions on
how to create your own Chatterpix, Voki,
Doodle Buddy, and QR codes digital projects.
This
fact booklet is a non-fiction book about the Native Americans. It is a
great resource to use for doing a research project on Native Americans with your
pre-k/kindergarten class.
This
fact booklet is also a non-fiction book about turkeys and perfect to use around
Thanksgiving!
This
Thanksgiving Unit not only focuses on our Thanksgiving Holiday, but it also is
a nice review of learned skills before the end of the second quarter. It includes the following skills:
Writing
numbers to 50 as well as one blank page for those that can write numbers beyond
50, before, between, after concepts, logical thinking, ordinal numbers, ABC
order, writing upper and lower case letters, syllabication, sight words,
constructing and writing a simple sentence. A Thanksgiving craft
project is also included.

El Dia De Los Muertos!
El Dia de los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead is a special Mexican
holiday celebrated right after Halloween on Nov. 1 and 2nd. Not much is known
about it. It is usually celebrated with
symbols of skulls and skeletons and it’s assumed by many that it celebrates
death when in fact it celebrates the lives of our ancestors and deceased loved
ones.
Traditions
connected with the holiday include: creating
private altars to honor the deceased, decorating grave sites, music, making foods such as “Pan de Muerto”
for the departed and visiting graves with
these gifts.
Many
of the children in our schools create art work and crafts. Check out the
video below to see some of their products!
I’ve created a non-fiction booklet that can be a great resource to use when discussing and studying
about the Day of the Dead with your kinders!
